About Sarah
Sarah Maklad, WHNP grew up in North Saint Paul, MN. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin River-Falls in 2005 with a Bachelor of Education. She has worked in almost every area of nursing ranging from hospice care to the NICU. For the last 11 years she has worked on the maternity care unit at Woodwinds in Woodbury, MN as a labor, post-partum, triage, and NICU nurse.
While working at Woodwinds she developed a passion for women's health. She received her graduate degree from the University of South Alabama. In Sarah’s new role as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, she is excited to continue advocating for and empowering women to be active partners in their health care.
When Sarah is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids. She loves outdoor activities, cooking, and finding new restaurants.
